Built by Collectors, for Collectors

About WickerWoodWorks. Handmade Vinyl Record Storage Since 2015

WickerWoodWorks is a Portland, Oregon furniture manufacturer specializing in handmade solid wood vinyl record storage furniture, bookshelves, speaker stands, vinyl record dividers, and listening room furniture. Founded in 2015 by Matt Wicker, a lifelong record collector, musician, and woodworker, the company was created with a simple goal: build furniture that would help people enjoy the things they love.

What began in a garage in San Jose, California has grown into one of the most recognized names in vinyl record storage furniture. Since 2015, WickerWoodWorks has handcrafted and shipped thousands of pieces to collectors in all 50 states and more than 30 countries worldwide.

Every piece is built in Portland, Oregon using sustainably sourced Pacific Coast Maple and premium hardwoods. Our furniture is designed specifically for vinyl collectors, combining record storage, turntable placement, and listening-room functionality into pieces that are built to last for generations. Each piece is handmade, finished by hand, delivered fully assembled, and backed by our lifetime craftsmanship guarantee.

Our mission is simple: help people listen to their records more by designing furniture that creates an esthetically pleasing and seamless experience.

Over the years, WickerWoodWorks has collaborated with respected music organizations and record labels including Blue Note Records, Capitol Records, Interscope Records, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and independent record stores across the United States. Our furniture has been featured by The Wall Street Journal, Marketplace, CNBC, and Esquire, including Seth Rogen's Houseplant Airbnb project.

Today, WickerWoodWorks continues to build furniture by collectors, for collectors. Whether you're just starting your first record shelf or curating a collection built over decades, our goal remains the same: create furniture that helps you enjoy the music you love and lasts as long as the records it holds.

Meet the Maker

Matt Wicker is a musician, lifelong vinyl collector, and founder of WickerWoodWorks.

Music has always been at the center of my life. I spent years playing in bands and recording local musicians and collecting records along the way. I never wanted to lose my connection to it. Creating furniture we're proud of that keeps people listening is an honor. We are grateful that our customers trust us with their precious collections.

Much love and happy collecting

-Matt
